Recent Projects - Kitchen remodel

This has been a recent and long-standing project which I began in January of 2020. It turned out to be the perfect COVID project. I bought my materials before the price spikes and had something to do for some 20 months during lockdowns, social distancing, and plague. The project infolved tearing out an old captured roof and taking the kitchen and back entryway down to the studs. Other tasks: tearing off/rebuilding the porch roof, rebuilding the floor to remove two stepdowns, new windows, new doors, new wiring, new drywall/paint, installing granite countertops, building new cabinets, drawers, and doors. The wood is oiled sapele, a type of mahogany.
