This tabletop lamp stands 28" tall and the stem is inset into a scultped base of black walnut. The power cord exits the base in the rear, centered vertically on the thickness of the base. All cuts have been rounded and sanded to furniture grade. All surfaces have been rotary sanded with abrasive bristles to remove anything loose or rough. The finished lamp was first oiled, then sprayed with multiple coats of semi-gloss polyurethane.
